My name is Max, and I like to engage in many different hobbies, projects and experiments. I enjoy playing video games, building PCs, tinkering with different combinations of hardware & open source software, 3D printing fun solutions to problems that didn't exist yesterday, homelabbing on my miniature home server and generally trying new things.

I am an IT Assistant Manager in the Care industry, with a history in writing and content marketing. I'm engaged to the most wonderful woman in the world.

I like to own tech, but I hate when my tech owns me. I'm finding new ways to play with technology and gadgets that puts the control and ownership back in my hands.

I love Metroidvania & Soulslike video games, Sci-Fi movies & novels, gadgets & tech, hiking & camping and also dabble in watches, trainers, and cooking.
